Charter Hall Colchester is a multipurpose events venue in the heart of Colchester and is fast becoming a ‘go to destination’ for the best in live music, comedy, sports and special events. A packed programme of events brings great value entertainment with UB40, Russell Watson and Rob Brydon among the many class acts we’ve welcomed to the Charter Hall stage. This year will be no exception with stand-up from the UK’s funniest comics including Jimmy Carr, Katherine Ryan, John Bishop and Sarah Millican; live concerts from Boyzlife, 10cc, Jason Donovan and The Overtones, sporting prowess from the Cage Warriors and our popular Gin and Prosecco Festivals.
Located in the town centre, the historic Castle Park is a superb outdoor space where thousands can gather to enjoy a host of events throughout the summer months. From Tom Jones and Craig David to the Colchester Food and Drink Festival and Oktoberfest, visitors come from far and wide to enjoy world class entertainment. In 2021 we look forward to welcoming Olly Murs on his homecoming tour and hosting the awesome Smoke and Fire Festival for the first time.
Colchester Town Hall plays host to a variety of events from Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties, to murder mysteries and conferences. Built in 1898 this beautiful and prestigious building with finely decorated rooms, grand staircase, stained glass windows, oil paintings and murals, is rich with history and bursts with ‘turn of the century’ glamour to enhance any occasion.
